HOW TO PREPARE PURPLE SEA MOSS?
A filter/strainer is best suited.
Rinse sea moss to remove salt and debris.
Soak in a bowl with bottled or filtered water for at least 4 hours.
Rinse again
Blend in filtered or bottled water until smooth.
Pour into a mason jar or container and refrigerate. Once cold, it will form a gel-like consistency.
*4oz of sea moss should make you five pints. If you have less, then you can add more water and blend it again.
*Consume two tablespoons a day.
*It can be added to smoothies, teas, and soups or taken directly by spoon.
*It will last for up to three weeks in the fridge.
*Sea moss gel can be frozen if you don't need to use all of it. I recommend mason jars.
